Terms of service

Last updated 7 November 2026

These are the terms on which an education agency uses FirstDay. They are written to be read, not skimmed; if anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign up.

The service

FirstDay is a workspace for IELTS centres and study abroad consultancies: enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, fees, classes and visa cases, with optional modules an agency turns on as it needs them. It works in a web browser and can be added to a phone’s home screen. We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a capability an agency depends on without notice.

Accounts

  • An agency’s admin creates the workspace and issues a login to each member of staff. There is no self sign-up.
  • Each person keeps their own password private and tells the agency’s admin if it may have been exposed.
  • The agency is responsible for what its staff do inside its workspace.

Your data

  • Everything an agency enters belongs to the agency. FirstDay holds it only to provide the service.
  • An agency can export its records as spreadsheets at any time, and for 90 days after its subscription ends.
  • How data is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

Use FirstDay for running your agency. Do not use it to store data you have no right to hold, to send unsolicited messages, to probe or overload the service, or to let anyone outside your agency into your workspace.

Fees

Pricing is agreed with each agency in writing before the workspace is created, and depends on branches and modules. Fees are payable in advance for the agreed period. We will give at least 60 days’ notice of any change to pricing.

Availability and support

We aim to keep FirstDay available at all times and will tell agencies in advance of planned maintenance. Support is by phone and WhatsApp during Indian working hours. If a problem stops an agency from working, we treat it as urgent.

Ending the service

  • An agency can stop at the end of any paid period by telling us.
  • We can suspend a workspace that breaks these terms, after telling the agency what is wrong and giving it a chance to fix it, unless the breach is putting other people’s data at risk.
  • After the service ends, data is available for export for 90 days and then deleted.

Liability

FirstDay is provided with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for loss caused by data an agency entered incorrectly, by decisions taken on the basis of reports, or by events outside our control. In any case our liability to an agency is limited to the fees it paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Kerala.
